The Wolverines

We have a very balanced group of players the youngest being eleven, the oldest being probably in his fifties (but i'm not going to be cheeky and ask him). Some of the guys are veterans who have been LARPing for fifteen plus years, most of us though have been LARPing five plus years and we have a couple of lads that are newbies who have only been to a single event.

We've just cut a few names off the site as they were players who claimed they were going to LARP but were always 'next year men', basically time wasters with the excuse that they couldn't make an event this year, but next year they would. To coin the Wolverine battle cry 'BOLLOX' to them. To be honest if you can't make the effort to attend  a single event in a year, then this isn't your hobby and we don't want you.

If you've liked what you've seen on this website and either want to start LARPing (serious though, no time wasters) or are in another Group / Faction and just looking for something new, we'll happily welcome anyone with skills or abilities that are currently going to waste, or new people with enthusiasm to give a new hobby a go. For me personally when i say that LARP really gives you a massive adrenalin rush, i'm not lying! there's nothing quite like fighting for 30-40 minutes and standing as the victors at the end. 

For new players to LARP we usually have enough extra equipment to kit you up for your first event, but future events we'll expect you make an effort to sort yourself out.
